All regional entries must be those performances achieved in the district meet unless the above Regional Standards are met in a three (3) team meet during the indoor season and a ten (10) team meet during the outdoor season. A time of .24 should be added to all hand times after rounding up to the nearest tenth. If an outdoor regional standard is met, this form must be completed and mailed or faxed (434-522-3793) within 7 days of the performance to Rod Camden, E. C. Glass High School, 2111 Memorial Ave., Lynchburg, Va. 24501. If a regional qualifying standard is met during the last week of the season, the forms must be faxed and received prior to your district meet. Please do not confuse these standards with the VHSL state qualifying standards. Both state and regional qualifying forms should be sent to Mr. Camden. A state qualifying form sent to Mr. Camden will substitute for the regional form and you will be allowed to enter both the regional and state meet with it. There should be a separate form for each relay and a separate form for each event in which the athlete competes (i.e., there should not be 2 names or 2 events on a single qualifying form). You should verify the reception of this form by checking the Northwest Region Web Page located at www.toppers.centralva.net/ and link to the qualifier list. The list is updated at least twice weekly.
